My camera gear

Olympus M4/3 System

I have been using my Olympus OMD EM5 as my workhorse camera since 2014.

It is wonderfully light, easy to carry and especially handy for streets photography, which requires much discretion with tiny camera body.

I use these Olympus prime lens: 45mm 1.8, 25mm 1.8 and the classic beautifully full metal 17mm 1.8.

All except the 45mm are second hand lens, which nevertheless produce fantistic image quality.

45mm f1.8 for protraits

25mm f1.8 for street photography

17mm f1.8 for landscapes & street photography

I also use my HLD 6 battery grip most of the time. It is useful if you are using the EM5.

I bought it in near mint condition (S$180) from a friendly photographer from clubsnap, who have used it only once.

These equipments have served me very well for the past 2 years. I am glad to have made the investment 🙂

Now that i have upgraded to the Nikon D750 as my new workhorse camera, i still use this reliable m4/3 system as a back up.
